Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2025
1. Introduction
Trustify ("we", "us", "our"), available at trustify.to, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This information is stored in your user profile.
Shopify Store Data
When you connect a Shopify store, we collect and store the following data via the Shopify API:
- Store name, domain, and country
- Daily and total revenue figures
- Order counts and average order values
- Session and visitor analytics
- Conversion rates (add-to-cart, checkout, purchase)
- Top products by revenue
- Sales by country and traffic source breakdowns
Shopify API Credentials
To access your store data, we store your Shopify API credentials. These credentials are encrypted at rest and are never shared with third parties.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information collected to:
- Display your store's revenue data on the public leaderboard.
- Generate analytics charts and growth metrics for your store profile.
- Sync your store data daily to keep figures up-to-date.
- Provide sharing features (OG images, social media cards).
- Improve and maintain the Service.
4. Public vs. Private Data
Public by default: Revenue data, order counts, and growth metrics are displayed publicly on your store profile and the leaderboard. This is the core purpose of Trustify.
Optional visibility controls: You can toggle the visibility of certain analytics sections (conversion funnel, top products, sales by country, traffic sources) from your dashboard.
Secret store: You can enable secret mode to hide your store name, logo, and domain while still displaying revenue data.
Private profile: Founders can set their profile to private, hiding their name and avatar from the leaderboard.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud database platform hosted in the cloud. We implement the following security measures:
- Row Level Security (RLS) policies to prevent unauthorized access.
- Encrypted storage for Shopify API credentials.
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- OAuth-based authentication (no passwords stored).
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your Shopify credentials or private account information with third parties. The only data shared publicly is what you explicitly choose to display on your store profile.
We may share aggregated, anonymized statistics (e.g., total platform revenue, number of stores) for marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and your store is connected. When you delete a store from Trustify, all associated revenue snapshots, analytics data, and credentials are permanently deleted. When you delete your account, all your data is removed.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the dashboard.
- Modify your profile and store settings at any time.
- Delete your store data and account at any time.
- Export your data by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent by disconnecting your store.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication and session management (Supabase auth tokens). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
10. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Google OAuth — sign-in provider.
- Shopify API — store data retrieval.
- Vercel — hosting and deployment.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.
11. Changes to This Policy
